Counselling and Psychotherapy

The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy definition of counselling and psychotherapy:

Counselling and psychotherapy are umbrella terms that cover a range of talking therapies. They are delivered by trained practitioners who work with people over a short or long term to help them bring about effective change or enhance their wellbeing.
You may be seeking someone neutral to talk to about a distressing experience or difficult feelings. Perhaps you would like therapy for personal development or to support a course of study. Alternatively, you may be less clear about your difficulties and would like to explore these in a confidential setting.

I can offer short (usually between 6 to 12 sessions) or long term therapy once or twice weekly.

I work with individuals and couples.
